Shame on "Democrats" Adam Schiff and Bill Maher for bemoaning Trump's embrace of tyrants in contrast to the USA's longstanding history of defending human rights, democracy and freedom abroad. As Glenn Greenwald recently pointed out, something well known for decades, the USA has invariably embraced ghastly foreign tyrants - in Guatemala, Iran, South Vietnam, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and recently, in Honduras after Obama and Hillary greenlighted the coup in Honduras in 2009.

Greenwald's piece, " Trump’s Support and Praise of Despots Is Central to the U.S. Tradition, Not a Deviation From It" should be read by all, especially Rep. Schiff and Maher.

For shame, Maher, for shame! Reader Supported News should offer readers a corrective, or at least link this interview to Greenwald, Noam Chomsky, William Blum's book, "Killing Hope," etc.
